Activities

With twenty-five acres of breath-taking landscapes just beyond the doorstep of your cottage, nature beckons you to explore its beauty and marvel at the abundance of wildlife. Here, amidst the serenity of the surroundings, there are an array of activities that cater to every age and preference.

Let the children run free and unleash their energy in the play area, equipped with a trampoline, zip wire, football field, play barn, and games room, providing hours of entertainment for the little ones and their cousins. It is an idyllic space where the kids can be kids and the adults can relax and unwind as they watch the children frolic about in the open fields.

The Play Park is a source of boundless excitement. Ride on Woody the yellow and green tractor, bounce to your heart’s content on the super-safe spring-free trampoline and hold on tight as you slide down the big slide and zip wire. The little ones will delight in the three swings and two play pits and relish in the joy of riding three ride-on John Deere tractors. Meanwhile, the treehouse, complete with a child’s kitchen, offers an incredible view of the fields of barley and is perfect for imaginative play.

The adventure doesn’t stop there, for the older children can explore the barns, build dens on the campgrounds, and cycle around the vast fields. And for those seeking a more leisurely stroll, take a relaxing walk around the Two-Field Walk, and bask in the beauty of the ever-changing sky. Marvel at the starry night skies and keep an eye out for the deer, hedgehogs, rabbits, hares, red kites, and the resident barn owl, and you might even catch a glimpse of the two Valais sheep.

But the fun doesn’t end with the great outdoors, as the big barn and Games Room offers loads of games and activities for all ages, including darts, pool, and table football. For those who enjoy sports, there’s football, basketball, and badminton, and for those who prefer a more relaxed evening, the laundry room houses a fantastic selection of board games.
