Torridge House Cottages is a complex of nine self-catering cottages located on a farm near the historic town of Torrington in North Devon. It is perfect for families with children as plenty of activities keep them entertained. The cottages feature a swimming pool, games room, and ample outdoor space. Additionally, children can feed and interact with a wide variety of farm animals and pets.

Activities

There is an abundance of activities to keep families entertained at any time of year at Torridge House. The outdoor heated swimming pool, measuring 36 feet by 18 feet, and a baby pool are open from May half term to September. For the convenience of parents, it is situated within a walled area. Additionally, a games room features table tennis, pool, air hockey, table football, and indoor sand play. Outside, there is plenty of space for a football game or running around, and garden push-along and toddler toys are available for the little ones. At Torridge House, the gardens and grounds are home to various animals, and children are welcome to assist with daily feeding time, including kittens, bunnies, guinea pigs, chicks, hens, ducks, mice, and pigs! If your children happen to exhaust the activities on-site, which seems unlikely, the golden beaches of Westward Ho! and Instow are only a twenty-minute drive away.
