However, for those who prefer not to cook, many beautiful restaurants nearby offer a variety of mouth-watering dishes. The Salamander Restaurant in Mevagissey is an excellent choice as they exclusively use locally caught fish and high-quality produce.

The Rabbit Warren is a spacious self-contained wing within Caerhays Castle that sleeps four.

Percuil View is a gorgeous conversion that sleeps four and is on the Roseland Peninsula close to St Mawes. It has beautiful character features.

Parc a Bounder is a highly roomy barn conversion that sleeps six and is on the Roseland Peninsula. It has characterful exposed beams and modern finishes.

Caerhays Castle and its spring gardens provide easy access to the charming villages of Gorran and Mevagissey. These properties are equidistant from St. Austell and the country town of Truro, home to several excellent shops and restaurants.

The beautiful south coast of Cornwall is known for its green and undulating landscape, and the Caerhays properties have a convenient location near stunning sandy beaches and the South West Coastal Path.

If you’re looking for some indoor entertainment in St Austell on a rainy day, you have a couple of options to choose from. You can visit The Seahorse and enjoy some water-based activities, including a water slide. Or, if you prefer some friendly competition, the Ozzell Bowl is a great choice for a game of bowling.
