The Hoyte family has personally run this site for three generations and is known for its friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Situated in the Trenance Valley area of Newquay, it offers easy access to town and the beautiful beaches without the hassle of parking – it’s just a 15-minute walk away.
Pack your bags and head to Trenance Holiday Park, located just a hop, skip, and a jump away from Newquay town centre and the nearest beaches! And that’s not all – Trenance Leisure Park is right next door, offering many fun-filled activities that will get your heart racing. Want to see some exotic animals? Check out the award-winning zoo. Looking for some adventure? The skate park and miniature railway are just a few steps away. Want to chill out and relax? Take a stroll by the boating lake, or try your hand at mini-golf. Oh, and don’t forget the newly renovated historic cottages, Waterworld with two indoor pools, the Heron Tennis Centre with indoor and outdoor courts, Crown bowling green, toddlers play area, and riding stables! These facilities are charged as used.
Ready to unwind? Head back to the Holiday Park, where you can enjoy the games room and Wi-Fi lounge.
All chalets and caravans come equipped with kitchens so that you can cook up a storm with your loved ones. But, if you want to explore the local cuisine, plenty of family-friendly pubs and cafes are within walking distance of the park. And if you need to stock up on supplies, don’t worry! You’ll find Asda, Morrisons, and Aldi supermarkets all close by in Newquay.
If you fancy exploring a little further, why not check out some of the nationally renowned chefs, such as Jamie Oliver and Rick Stein, who have set up shop in Cornwall? With so many amazing options to choose from, your taste buds are in for a real treat!
If you’re looking for more space than a caravan can offer, Trenance has got you covered with their popular bungalow-style cedar-wood chalets. These chalets are fully double-glazed and south-facing, allowing you to enjoy the sun, with patio doors leading onto balconies. You’ll also have parking right beside your chalet. These chalets come in two sizes – accommodating either six or four people. A few chalets also have a double bedroom and another bedroom with two bunks suitable for children up to 15 years old.
There is also a variety of caravans available for hire, ranging from one to three bedrooms to suit families of all sizes.
The park welcomes touring caravans, tents, motorhomes, and camper vans. With various pitch types available, you can tailor your holiday to your exact needs. Plus, the pitches are separately marked and come with an electric hook-up, so you can keep your gadgets charged and stay connected to the world. And don’t worry about navigating in the dark – the roads are lit for your convenience.
If you’re looking for a bit more luxury, check out the reserved area in the park for hard-standing pitches. These pitches come with individual electric, water, and TV connections, meaning you can stay comfortable and entertained throughout your stay.
Tired of the hassle of setting up a tent? Consider trying a camping pod instead. These pods offer a cosy and warm interior, allowing you to feel right at home in the great outdoors.
One of the main reasons to choose Trenance for your stay is the location. No other park can compete with its close proximity to the town centre and main beaches. All the attractions, excellent eating places (some right on the beach), walking trails with fabulous views, and top-rated club venues are all within easy walking distance!
The Trenance Cottages, which are among the oldest buildings left, have recently been restored. They provide a glimpse into the historic past of Newquay and boast their own tearooms, making them the perfect spot to enjoy a genuine Cornish cream tea. The valley in which they’re located leads to the tidal River Gannel Estuary, a sanctuary for wild birds and a great location for canoeing, paddle boarding, and other activities. This river eventually flows into the sea at the stunning Crantock Beach (be aware of strong tidal currents). The coastal footpath can be accessed directly by crossing the footbridge.
Cornwall offers a plethora of fascinating places to explore, from popular tourist destinations to charming towns, grand mansions, and the untamed beauty of The Lizard and Lands End. The park has an Information Room that provides everything you need to make your holiday unforgettable.
Trenance Holiday Park offers a variety of accommodation options, including chalets, caravans, and space for tents or caravans. Its location is unbeatable, with easy access to Newquay town centre and the closest beaches, both of which are just a 15-minute walk away.
