Overview

Welcome to a unique glamping experience! At Nightsky Glamping they have combined the best of camping with the luxury of a cottage to create a cosy, fun, and exciting getaway. Glamping is all about enjoying the great outdoors in style and comfort. If you have some animal lovers in the family, they’ll love the NightSky Alpacas! Located in the popular beach side resort of Abersoch (famous for its watersports), the family will love everything the glamping experience and the local area offers.

Activities

The site itself hosts a small play area for children located near the Reception area, just outside of the small shop. You’ll also find a bench for adults to rest their tired feet while watching the children play! The main attraction on this site is the Alpacas, which are cared for by the owners of Nightsky. Just ask, and you can go and say hello and even feed them!

Food

Both the tents and cottages are self catering, however you’ll find a full equipped kitchen so you can bring food with you or pick up a shop on the way.
However, you’ll also find a small shop on site that offers fresh coffee, breakfast items and even pizza nights. Just pre-order, and your pizza will be made for you at a time that suits you.

You’ll also find ready made family meals (made on site by the owners) in the freezer section. Perfect for after a busy day and you don’t quite fancy cooking.
If you’re spending the day exploring or you just want something different, head to nearby Abersoch. There, you’ll find pubs, cafes, bars, restaurants, and takeaways all within easy reach.

Blades Deli bakery offers fresh bread, cakes and sandwiches daily for a quick bite. Two Islands ice cream offer welsh dairy ice cream to die for. For those pizza lovers, either eat in or takeaway a home made pizza from Crust. Looking for something a little different, head over to Manana, a family run, family friendly Mexican restaurant. Be warned – it’s that popular they don’t take bookings in advance, so this one requires a bit of planning!

Accommodation

Nightsky glamping offers a unique experience. Guests can choose from Safari tents (sleeping six or seven), Woody tents (sleeping four), or the beautiful Horse Shoe cottage, which sleeps up to 11.

Glamping tents include a kitchen area with an added dining table, comfortable sofa, T.V., and bedrooms suited to each family member, including bunk beds for the children.

The tents include Wall heaters, ceiling fan and a wood burning stove to keep you warm on those cooler days. Inside you’ll find a toilet, however you do need to go outside to access your own personal shower.

Outside you’ll find your own decked patio area, complete with a hot tub.

As soon as you step inside Horse Shoe Cottage, you’ll notice how spacious and rad the open-plan living area is, with high ceilings and trendy lighting. It’s the perfect spot to kick back and watch a family film, and when it gets chilly, the wood burner is a major plus.

The cottage has five bedrooms, with two having their own bathrooms. The others share a main bathroom and a shower room.

Outside is a garden with incredible views, a big deck for hangouts, and a hot tub for maximum relaxation. Perfect for gazing at the stars and reliving the day’s adventures.
