Moreover, during the summer school holidays, activities for the little ones are included. Most of the facilities are located just a stone’s throw away from the castle. There is an indoor heated swimming pool, and for those warmer days, you can head to the outdoor pool, which is open from May to September. If you want to play some games, there are two all-weather tennis courts and badminton courts. You can hire rackets and balls at the leisure reception. The large outdoor playground is right next to the tennis courts to keep the little ones entertained. They can also embark on an exciting adventure to discover dragon lairs, fairy doors, hidden gardens, and secret waterfalls in the enchanted woodland. Fitness enthusiasts have access to a brilliant fitness suite equipped with a range of weights and cardio equipment.

Food

The family-friendly self-catering properties can be found in all corners of the 72-acre estate. Some of the Cornish cottages occupy the castle’s original outbuildings and are just a short stroll from St Ives. Others are shaded by subtropical gardens, or are nestled amongst the woodland walkways.

There are two dining experiences at Tregenna. Godrevy View Restaurant, which serves delicious seasonal evening dishes and Olives serves drinks from 10am to late, and has a relaxed informal feel ideal for lunchtime.

The Tregenna Castle Resort is an estate that offers a range of self-catering options spread across its 72-acre property. It is an ideal holiday spot for families, as it has Cornish cottages and lodges with private saunas and Jacuzzis. The Signature Collection is perfect for those who want luxurious and spacious properties that can accommodate up to 12 guests. The properties come with a beautiful view of the St Ives Bay, and their modern interiors, opulent bathrooms, and grand windows make them stand out.

Within the Signature Collection there are five five-bedroom lodges, two four-bedroom apartments, two and three-bedroom apartments, and two two-bedroom cottages. The property has undergone two significant expansions to accommodate its guests and now offers spacious rooms within the main building that can cater to families of all sizes. The family rooms in the West Wing can sleep up to five people, while one of the family rooms can accommodate six people with a double bed, two singles, and a double sofa bed. Two of the West Wing rooms come with four-poster beds and stunning sea views.
