Tamar Valley Cottages offers a perfect family-friendly holiday base in Cornwall. They are set within the vast grounds of North Tamerton’s former rectory and provide breathtaking views of unspoiled countryside towards Dartmoor. The cottages are situated close to the edge of Ruby Country.

Activities

The grounds are spacious and perfect for children to play and have fun. There are extensive lawns where they can run around and play games and mature trees and bushes for hiding and seeking.

The best feature is the children’s play area, which includes a trampoline, Wendy house, goalpost, and more! The gardens and grounds are fully enclosed, far from any main roads, and located at the front of the cottages, making it a safe place for children to explore.

There are 4 Tamar Valley Cottages, each with different sleeping capacities.

Hendra Cottage accommodates up to 9 people and features a spacious open-plan sitting room/dining room with French windows that open onto a private terrace. The well-fitted kitchen area includes a freezer, dishwasher, and washing machine. The double bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and an extra shower room with W.C. On the first floor, there is one double room, a twin-bedded room, a bunk-bedded room, and a family bathroom.

Treneglos Cottage is a single-story accommodation that sleeps 5. It offers a comfortable open-plan sitting room/dining room with a well-equipped kitchen area with a dishwasher. The cottage comprises one double bedroom, a three-bedded family room, a family bathroom, and a private terrace.

Bodrugan Cottage is also single-story and can accommodate four guests. It features a delightful open-plan sitting room/dining room with a well-fitted kitchen area. The cottage has one double bedroom, a twin-bedded room, a family bathroom, and a private terrace.

Penhale Cottage is another single-story cottage that sleeps four people. It offers an attractive open-plan sitting room/dining room with a well-fitted kitchen area. The cottage includes one double bedroom overlooking the orchard, one twin-bedded room, a family bathroom, and a private terrace.
