Experience a joyful Christmas at Killerton House, where festive cheer fills every corner of the house and gardens. The main house is adorned with classic holiday decor, from garlands and twinkling fairy lights to beautifully decorated trees and cozy Christmas scenes. Visitors can wander through themed rooms, discovering scenes of holiday traditions, including festive games by the fire, afternoon tea, and carol singing. You’ll even find historic family photos and holiday cards in homage to Agnes Acland, adding a warm, personal touch.
Outdoors, a family-friendly trail weaves through the gardens and parkland, inviting visitors of all ages to learn about Christmas traditions both old and new. Activities include designing a Victorian Christmas card, creating a marble run, and performing a festive show reminiscent of the Acland family’s own celebrations. Meanwhile, in the chapel, admire the talent of local community groups who have decorated 12 Christmas trees, each representing the spirit of the season.
For a festive treat, indulge in seasonal delights from the Stables Coffee Shop or the Killerton Kitchen Café. Enjoy seasonal hot chocolate, mince pies, and holiday meals as you explore. The on-site shop also offers unique Christmas gifts, decorations, and treats, perfect for bringing a touch of Killerton’s charm to your own holiday celebrations.
