Tucked away in a tranquil corner of the countryside surrounded by lush greenery, Grove Glamping offers families a delightful glamping experience with various traditional Mongolian Yurts ranging from five to six meters.
Guests staying at The Grove’s glamping site have full access to all the fantastic amenities at the nearby hotel. This family-owned and family-friendly hotel offers a wide range of facilities to keep you and your kids entertained, including a spacious heated indoor swimming pool that you can use all year round.
Children will enjoy exploring the grounds, which feature a treehouse and a trampoline. Each yurt has its own hammock, making it an ideal spot for young bookworms to relax and read. Meanwhile, adults can head to the Massage Hut for some much-needed relaxation. And if you fancy a stroll to the beach, it’s just a short and enjoyable walk through the woods. The glamping site is situated in a peaceful corner of the garden, with easy access to the pool, and is an excellent place for kids to play and meet new friends. The five yurts are clustered around a fire pit, which creates a warm and friendly atmosphere in the evenings.
Every yurt at the location is equipped with excellent cooking facilities. The guests will find a trunk filled with utensils, glasses, and barbecue equipment. Additionally, there is a covered kitchen and dining area with a fridge and gas stove to ensure that the guests can enjoy delicious meals and eat as well as they do at home. They can look forward to fantastic al fresco feasts!
To make their arrival stress-free, guests can pre-book one of the various hampers available, such as wine and cheese, barbecue, or breakfast. Alternatively, they can dine at The Grove Restaurant, which serves locally sourced and seasonally inspired food. With two AA rosettes, this award-winning experience should not be missed.
The traditional Mongolian yurts are handcrafted and erected every year, offering a unique glamping experience with an emphasis on glamour. Fleece-lined walls and a wood-burning stove provide warmth and cosiness at night, while proper beds and top-quality bedding ensure a peaceful sleep. The skylight at the centre of the roof allows for stargazing from your bed and keeps the space bathed in natural light.
All the yurts consist of one ample open-plan space for sleeping and socializing. Three of the yurts sleep up to four guests in a set of bunk beds and a double bed, while the two larger yurts, six meters in diameter, sleep up to six and eight guests in additional beds. After a full day at the beach, nothing is better than returning to your yurt for a restful night’s sleep in ready-made beds.
The Mongolian yurts have oak doors and are surrounded by a wooden lattice with a window looking up to the stars. Each yurt is fitted with all your creature comforts, including a double bed with a proper mattress and duvet, bunk beds, a wood-burning stove, low-wattage 240-volt electricity for charging phones, and an undercover cooking and eating area with gas hobs, fridge, and a charcoal BBQ. All yurts are fully equipped with everything you need for your stay except for towels, slippers, and swimming kit. Guests can enjoy the free onsite pool and washing facilities, including hot running water. However, washing up liquid, dishcloths, and tea towels are not provided, so please remember to pack these. It’s also worth bringing a torch.
