Overview

The Milky Way Adventure Park is an excellent choice for families looking for fun activities in North Devon or North Cornwall. This park offers exciting rides such as the Cosmic Typhoon roller coaster and the gravity-defying Rider Donut slide, as well as a maze and outdoor displays featuring birds of prey from the North Devon Bird of Prey Centre.

Things to do

The Milky Way is the perfect all-weather destination for a family day out in North Devon. It is great for the whole family and offers a wide variety of activities to enjoy. The latest addition to this attraction is the Ninja Stars Games Arena, which features Tag Active scoring and is designed for everyone to enjoy together. Visitors can participate in a series of events and obstacles to reach the top of the leaderboard. This activity is suitable for children aged 6 years and above.

Ziggy’s Blast Quest is another interactive experience where visitors can help save Planet Earth by piloting Cyber Scooters and shooting at space rocks with Blasteroid Lasers. The front digital scoreboard of their Cyber Scooter will inform them of their performance. The Gravity Rider, a 30ft tall donut slide, was added to the attraction to satisfy the daredevils in your family. Kids can test their driving skills on the Droid Destroyer Dodgems, while The Jumping Jupiters provide a fun jumping experience for the entire family. If you need to relax, you can try The Milky Way Railway for a peaceful ride through the park. For animal lovers, there is also a Bird of Prey Display.

For those seeking more adventure, take on the Cosmic Typhoon roller coaster or the massive death slide if they dare! The attraction also caters to younger children with the Cosmic Caterpillar, Milky Way Train, and innovative Little Stars play centre, which are designed especially for babies and pre-schoolers.

Food & Drink

The Starlight Restaurant in the park serves freshly prepared lunches and drinks including pizza, pasta, nachos, paninis, chips, jacket potatoes, locally produced cakes, and freshly ground coffee. It is open on weekends and during school holidays throughout the year. On weekdays, during quieter times of the year, The Cosmic Café in Little Stars is open. This café offers seating around the Little Stars play area, providing parents with the opportunity to enjoy their meals and snacks while watching their kids play. The café’s menu features pizza, pasta, nachos, jacket potatoes, toasted sandwiches, paninis, chips, and children’s lunch boxes. Visitors can also choose from a range of freshly ground barista offerings, such as lattes, cappuccinos, and americanos, as well as locally produced cakes.

The park’s Planet Play café, located next to the main indoor play area and the Ninja Star arena, is the perfect place for visitors to take a break during their fun-filled day out. They can recharge while keeping an eye on their children having fun. The café is open most weekends, offering a variety of drinks and sweet treats. It also offers sausage rolls, pasties, baguettes, pizzas, cheesy nachos, and children’s lunch boxes on peak holiday dates.

Visitors should note that while the park has plenty of indoor and outdoor areas for picnicking, they are not permitted in the cafes and restaurants.
