Get ready for the wild ride of your life at Longleat Safari and Adventure Park! Drive into a family fun day in the animal kingdom, jam-packed with adventure and exploration. It’s the UK’s top Safari Park and the first to open outside of Africa. Home to over 120 species, you can see our amazing animals by car, foot, train, bus and boat. You can see why they call it ‘ A Day Out Like No Other!’
Buckle up for a drive-through adventure where you’ll get up close and personal with wild and exotic animals. Heads up: keep those windows up and snacks secure because cheeky critters might just snatch your goodies! Will you see a mighty lion cross your path or end up with a bunch of cheeky monkeys sitting on your car roof? With wolves, deer, rhinos, cheetahs, zebras and Anne, the elephant to spot on your wild drive, there is so much to do from the comfort of your car.
Once you have finished your drive-through, park up and join the boat safari for sea lions on a fish-finding mission. For an extra fee, you may also be able to feed them. You can also catch the Gorilla Colony as you cruise past their island. The boat safari is wheelchair friendly, but they ask you to leave buggies on dry land.
Switch gears and stroll through the African village to meet giraffes and zebras, then hop over to the Lemur Walkthrough and the bat cave – even hand-feed the colourful lorikeets. Don’t miss Longleat’s first koala, which was born in Europe in Koala Creek. Talk about exotic!
Kids will love climbing, climbing, and zip-wiring in the Adventure Castle. And little ones will love running wild in the Little Explorers Garden. Tackle Britain’s most prominent hedge maze or hop aboard the miniature railway and take in the scenic woodland. Or race your family on Rocky the Rhino or Leroy the Lion. And with plenty of shows and encounters or VIP experiences to book, you can see why Longleat is a full day out.
When those little tummies start growling, it’s chow time! Hit The Watering Hole Café for delicious cakes, sandwiches, and snacks to keep the adventure rolling. If you’re hungry, swing by the Chameleon Tree Restaurant for mouth-watering homecooked meals that’ll tame those grumbly stomachs! Pizza cravings? No sweat – Pizza Piazza has you covered with a drool-worthy stone-baked pizza sporting all the toppings. There are kiosks all around, dishing out fast-food favourites like tasty fries, nacho fries, buffalo chicken, and even some vegan goodies for the whole crew!
You’ll also find plenty of picnic spots.
