Overview

Eureka! is not like other museums. It is an extraordinary and engaging experience for children aged 0-11. The attraction boasts six unique zones to explore, each filled with hundreds of interactive exhibits that are designed to inspire young minds and promote learning. The exhibits aim to encourage curiosity and instil a better understanding of the world around us.

Things to do

The UK’s only fully interactive museum created especially for children aged 0-11 offers a day filled with creativity and exploration that kids will absolutely love. Divided into six unique zones, the museum’s exhibits are designed to inspire curiosity and encourage learning through play. From examining the human nose to learning about the science of sound, there’s so much to discover and explore.

The museum believes that kids learn best when they’re having fun, so they’ve created an environment that’s playful, engaging, and above all, fun! Children can engage with a wide range of scientific concepts through hands-on exhibits and interactive activities. The exhibits are designed to support their emotional, intellectual, physical, social, and creative development. Children are encouraged to learn at their own pace and to ask questions.

Children can explore many interactive activities from scanning pregnant tummies, to sticking their head up a giant nose!

Explore the zones:

Homes
Think differently about the everyday! What is it for, why is it made like that, how does it work, would I do it differently? What makes a home, and what makes your home yours?

Bodies

Ever walked through a pair of lungs, or seen a supersize brain? What would happen if you turned a body inside out? (spoiler: it’s messy). Your body is unique, one of a kind – test it, embellish it, look after it.

Nature
What does our environment teach us about ourselves, our purpose, and our connections to each other? Can nature inspire new ways of living and provide solutions to the big challenges we all face?

Make Create
A space dedicated to helping you get your MAKE on. Design, tinker, make and create: The clue’s in the name!

The Burrow
An area dedicated to the youngest visitors aged 0-7 years, including numerous playful opportunities to interact with nature-themed exhibits and activities, and a fantastic imagination playground® space to inspire your child’s creativity.

Food & Drink

The on-site café is a great spot to grab a bite to eat. They’ve got a selection of delicious meals and snacks, and even though the menu is a bit limited at times, there are still plenty of options to choose from. Plus, if the weather is nice, you can always grab a picnic table outside and enjoy your food in the sunshine! And don’t forget, you can also stop by the café for a refreshing drink or a yummy snack. And if you’ve got a sweet tooth, they’ve got lollies too!
