Activities

The properties are set on a working farm that offers a plethora of activities for families to enjoy. Farm tours can be booked upon request, and children can even feed the chickens. The Grange boasts a covered pool, complete with pool floats that are available for use. Additionally, a travel cot and highchair can be provided upon request.

The properties are self-catering and are equipped with well-appointed kitchens and dining areas. High chairs are also available on request. If you fancy a night off cooking, the Blacksmiths Arms pub, which is listed as one of the world’s best restaurants, is just a 15-minute walk away in the village of Plymtree. Additionally, there are numerous family-friendly restaurants in the nearby towns of Cullompton and Honiton, which can be reached within a 15 to 20-minute drive from the properties.

The Deer Den can sleep up to 8 people, with beds that can also be configured to meet your needs before your stay. Each of the four bedrooms can either be a super king or two singles. The downstairs bedroom at The Deer Den is especially designed for those who might have mobility issues, so it must be kept as a double bed. Just like The Grange, The Deer Den also provides luxurious white bedding and fluffy towels.

You can explore the National Trust properties such as Killerton (which is only a 15-minute drive away) or Knightshayes (a 25-minute drive away). If you’re looking for picturesque Devonshire beaches, then Exmouth, Sidmouth, Beer, Lyme Regis and Seaton are all just a short drive away. There are also plenty of family-friendly attractions nearby including Wildwood Devon, Ashclyft Forest, and The Bear Trail, all of which can be reached within 5-10 minutes.
