Overview

A visit to West Midlands Safari Park offers a chance to see over 165 species of exotic animals and enjoy a thrilling theme park, to boot.

Things to do

Discover a variety of animals and take some great pictures at this fun-packed park. You can explore the African walk-through area, which is home to mighty elephants, magnificent lions, elegant giraffes, and impressive rhinos grazing! And don’t miss the Red Panda Retreat and its new facilities.

If the weather takes a turn, head to the all-weather Discovery Trail, which features daily Sea Lion theatre shows, a rainbow of feathers at Lorikeet Landing, and a healthy dose of the heebie-jeebies at Reptile World. Or drive through the Safari area in your car and spot magnificent creatures like the Southern white rhino or the elegant giraffe. Get up close to other exotic animals like the groovy zebras, prized Ankole cattle, Congo buffalos, the swamp-loving red lechwe, and the eland – the largest of all antelope species. You can also explore the Wild Asia area with Indian rhinos and the Borderlands, where you can spot the Bactrian camels and magnificent elephants. It’s a safari drive like no other!

In addition, there is a huge list of rides that you and your family can enjoy. From the Congo Carousel and The Desert Convoy to bigger thrills like the spinning Black Fly and the new virtual reality ride, or keep it classic with minibus safari tours! You can travel back in time 2.4 million years ago as you visit the Ice Age or go back even further to the Land of Living Dinosaurs and discover some prehistoric creatures.

Food & Drink

The park offers a diverse range of food and drink options to suit all tastes. Whether you prefer a quick bite or a sit-down meal, you’ll find something to your liking.
