Get ready to feel the rush of adrenaline as you take in breathtaking views of the South Wales countryside on the Phoenix, the world’s fastest seated zip line. The Phoenix has 2 zip zones, each with 4 parallel lines, allowing you to soar at high-speed alongside your loved ones for an unforgettable shared experience. (Minimum height requirement is 1.2m).

The Tower Climber is the biggest adventure course of its kind in the UK. It features a variety of thrilling and distinct obstacles that you can tackle at your own pace. The adventure course has 4 levels, including a lower junior level and a top viewing deck, making it suitable for the whole family. (Minimum height requirement for the junior course is 1 metre).

The Tower Flyer is a triple-zone zip line experience that is perfect for children and those who are new to adventure. It features two parallel zip lines in each zone and is located centrally on-site. This is an excellent option for those who want to get a taste of adventure but are not quite ready to take on Phoenix. The minimum height requirement for this adventure is 1m.

Introducing the first ever two-seater roller coaster of its kind in Europe – Tower Coaster! Brace yourself for an adrenaline-pumping ride as you race through the historic Zip World Tower site, covering a distance of over 1 kilometre and reaching speeds of up to 25 mph. The coaster features tunnels, banked corners, dips and peaks, offering an exhilarating way to explore Tower Colliery up close. Please note that the minimum age for passengers is 4 years while drivers need to be at least 9 years old.

Food & Drink

The Cegin Glo Bar and Bistro is the perfect spot for a light snack or a hot meal, and boasts floor-to-ceiling views of the adventure unfolding outside. In-keeping with the site’s heritage as a former coal mine, you will find interesting tidbits of information around the eatery and a mezzanine where you have a fantastic view of the bar and the site itself. Outdoor seating is also available.
