Located in the serene countryside, the Hockerhill Adventure Playbarn is a stunning play area designed for children. The play area is built around a magnificent artificial oak tree modelled after the one at Boscobel House, where King Charles II hid while fleeing from Oliver Cromwell during the Battle of Worcester.
The play area is a wonderland featuring a vast network of tunnels, bridges, and elevated walkways that will ignite the imagination of children of all ages. In addition, there is a winding tarmac track where pedal go-karts can be enjoyed by those who love an adrenaline rush.
The destination is perfect for families or groups of friends looking for an exciting day out. The Playbarn offers a range of thrilling activities to entertain and delight everyone. Furthermore, the outdoor area is fun, with year-round zip lines, swings, slides, a sand pit, and a toddler area.
The focal point of the Playbarn is a vast imitation oak tree, based on the one that King Charles II used as a hiding spot in Boscobel House while escaping from Oliver Cromwell during the Battle of Worcester. Located at the centre of the Playbarn, this central tower allows children to explore the various bridges, high-level walkways, tunnels, slides, and rope equipment that await them.
Plenty of outdoor seating and picnic benches are available, along with an outdoor hut serving pizzas and ice cream. Additionally, an indoor food and drink counter offers hot food, sandwiches, cakes, and other treats.
