Woodland Adventure beckons visitors to embrace their adventurous spirit with its interactive outdoor attractions, including a distinctive climbing frame, mud kitchen, and wheelchair-accessible swing. Meanwhile, the South America-themed subtropical house ‘Eureka!’ invites exploration among sloths, monkeys, birds, reptiles, and lush greenery. Don’t miss the daily animal feeding talks and captivating ‘Amazing Animals!’ presentations, where you can observe birds from around the world soaring overhead in a thrilling display of aerial acrobatics.

Animals include tigers, leopards, giraffes, monkeys, zebras, lemurs, wolves, meerkats, kangaroos, scorpions, tarantulas, reptiles, domestic livestock, a variety of birds, and many more…

There’s a train ride (at no extra cost) that takes you around most of the zoo. It’s a great way to familiarise yourself with the layout and see what’s available. It’s also handy for those who are less able to walk. The accompanying guided talk given during the train ride is very informative.
