Nestled amidst the breathtaking Mabie Forest and offering stunning views of the Solway Firth, Mabie Farm Park is the perfect place for original farm fun that will delight visitors of all ages, regardless of the weather.
The farm park is located on 77 hectares of land, initially serving as a dairy farm. Visitors can purchase animal food from the shop to help feed the animals. The outdoor paddocks offer a chance to observe various animals, including ponies, horses, llamas, alpacas, pigs, goats, donkeys, sheep, and birds. The animal barn houses several calves, pigs, other animals, and their babies.
Indoors, visitors can enjoy a fun straw barn with rope swings and bales of straw to play on. The play barn features a climbing wall, climbing frame, nets, and ride-on tractors. Additionally, there’s a pet corner where visitors can interact with and feed some of the smaller furry friends.
Visitors can enjoy a 4-lane Astroslide suitable for adults and children. There’s also a boating pond where visitors can rent two or 4-seater pedalos. Go-karts and quad bikes are available for children aged four and above, while a train ride is available for everyone. Other play areas include a bouncy castle, jumping pillows, grass slides, trampolines, and a fort. There’s also a play park with swings, a sandpit, aerial runway, a toddler play area, and little Wendy houses.
The Tearoom is an excellent spot for anyone looking to satisfy their hunger and relax in a comfortable and spacious environment. Visitors can indulge in various hot and cold snacks, including homemade soups, salads, sandwiches, tempting cakes, and biscuits. The menu also offers an excellent selection of hot and cold drinks to complement the meal. Whether one wants lunch at the park or to grab a snack, The Tearoom has got them covered.
The Tuck Shop is in the Farm Park, near the Paddle Boats and Quad Bike Track. This is the perfect place to satisfy your snack cravings, as it offers a range of hot and cold drinks, sweets, ices, and additional ride tickets.
Families can enjoy a lovely picnic amid the stunning Mabie Forest. Visitors can bring their lunch and use the many picnic tables available throughout the farm. Guests can relax in the tranquil green spaces while enjoying lunch or snacks. If the weather is not good, some undercover areas are available, and the Play Barn can also be used for an indoor picnic.
