Spread across a whopping 50,000 square feet, the Dingles Fairground Heritage Centre is an indoor attraction that provides a unique opportunity to view our Fairground Heritage in a beautiful rural location. You’ll be delighted to find a fantastic collection of Fairground art, historic rides, fairground organs, and an impressive collection of operating vintage fairground rides that will take you back in time.

Things to do

Get ready for some serious fun at the vintage fairground! Saunter around the working fairground rides like the Ghost Train, Dodgems, Moonrocket, Noah’s Ark Super Speedway, and the original Edwardian set of Victory Gallopers. Smaller kids can ride the Happy Caterpillar, Mini Waltzer, Toyset Roundabout, or the Ladybugs.

Afterwards, laugh in the Hall of Mirrors and take silly photos with your friends and family. Don’t forget to visit the Exhibits Hall and one of our children’s trails to learn about Victorian freak shows, see Victorian galloper horses and chickens, and discover how travelling showpeople and their families lived while on the road. If you’re lucky, you might even hear traditional fairground organs playing.

Are you feeling peckish? Head over to the fairground kiosk to grab some juicy burgers, hot dogs, and chips with candy floss, and wash it down with a cold slush puppy for dessert. Once you’ve satisfied your hunger, it’s time to test your skills at the side stalls. Try your luck at the Plate Smash, Shooter, Darts, Ball in a Bucket, or Hook a Duck, and win awesome prizes!
