Take a look at what lies beneath the surface of the sea at Deep Sea World, Scotland’s national aquarium. Situated below the iconic Forth Rail Bridge, this aquarium is home to over 2,000 aquatic creatures. The perfect place for families to discover seahorses, stingrays, seals, grey nurse sharks, giant sand tiger sharks, starfish, exotic fish and many other fascinating sea creatures.

At the Underwater Safari witness one of Europe’s largest collections of sharks and experience the UK’s longest underwater tunnel, which holds 4.5 million litres of water. Come face to face with sand tiger sharks and hundreds of other fascinating sea creatures such as rays, wrasse and mackerel. Catch the daily dive and feeding shows to watch the divers feed the sharks.

Feeling brave, then why not plunge into the shark tank or go behind the scenes to discover how the sharks are fed and taken care of in the aquarium? For the adventurous, Deep Sea World offers adult and junior diving experiences where guests can get up close and personal with their favourite creatures, including sharks, stingrays and fish. These experiences are sure to spark kids’ curiosity about the ocean and its inhabitants.

Feeling hungry? Then take a break and enjoy lunch under the UNESCO Heritage Site Forth Rail Bridge. A variety of options are available, including burgers, fish and chips, freshly baked pizza, fresh baguettes, and much more.

For families, there is a range of kid-friendly meal options such as sandwich packs (with ham or cheese options), mini pizzas, chicken nuggets, and mini fish suppers. All kid’s meals come with a carton of juice and a piece of fruit.
