Overview

This 77-acre site offers a wide range of activities for families. As a real working farm, new arrivals are frequent throughout the year. In the spring, visitors can see baby lambs, goat kids, rabbits, piglets, and guinea pigs, which can even be cuddled. Over 100 deer can be fed and seen on tractor rides. The playgrounds are great for children of all ages, with indoor and outdoor areas. Additionally, the park is an excellent place for learning, especially for primary school children.

Things to do

Bucklebury Farm is a working farm that offers a variety of fun activities for children. Kids can interact with plenty of animals, such as baby lambs, goat kids, rabbits, guinea pigs, and piglets. They can feed them, cuddle with them, and even bottle-feed baby lambs in the spring. The farm also organises daily activities like ‘Pat-a-Pet’, ‘Get to Know the Goats’, and ‘Piggy Playtime’, which allow children to get up close and personal with the animals. There are also play areas where kids can explore, such as a soft play area with four slides, obstacles, a zip line, and hidden facts and pictures about farm animals. Outdoor activities include a bouncing pillow, zip line, climbing frames, and pedal go-karts. There’s also Woody’s Leap Obstacle course for those seeking a challenge.

In addition to the animals, Bucklebury Farm is home to various types of deer, including Red, Sika, Fallow, and Axis deer. If you visit during spring and summer, you can take a tractor ride to feed the deer. In winter, there’s an alternative deer feeding activity you can enjoy. The entry fee includes one tractor ride per person to feed the deer.

Food & Drink

Bucklebury Farm Cafe is in the heart of the farm park and is open daily. You don’t have to pay to enter the farm to visit the cafe. You can choose to relax indoors or outside on the sheltered terrace. The cafe offers a friendly drop-in service for breakfast, lunch, and afternoon tea, with artisan coffee, cold beverages, cakes, pastries, savoury snacks, and light seasonal bites. They also have a special lunch package for children. The cafe is open from Monday to Sunday, from 8:30 am to 4 pm. If you decide to bring your own food, there are plenty of picnic benches available around the park.
