If you’re staying in a caravan, you’ll have your own fully-equipped kitchen, and you can buy everything you need to cook your own meals at the on-site shop. If you want to explore Bude’s restaurants and cafes, head there too. If you plan to do a big food shop, Morrisons is only 5.5 miles away.

Accommodation

Widemouth Bay has a variety of caravans available, graded by size. There are 2-bedroom caravans that can accommodate 6 people and 3-bedroom caravans that can accommodate 8. Each caravan has a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with a shower. The bedrooms have a double bed and twin beds, and there’s also a sofa bed in the lounge. The platinum caravans have the added luxury of a hot tub on the verandah.

Widemouth Bay also offers a glamping experience with its luxury safari tents. Each tent has a bathroom and kitchen facilities, a double bed, a twin room for kids, a living/dining area, outdoor decking, and electricity.

If you’re on a budget, you can stay in a camping pod that accommodates up to 4 people. The wooden pod includes a heater and bed linen, and you can use the toilets and showers in a separate block.
