Visitors are encouraged to explore and decide what to do during their visit. They could go boating on the lake, watch a show at the MAC, visit a lynx at the Birmingham Wildlife Conservation Park, or take a ride on the Land Train and see the park’s sights. The Fun Park is specifically designed for younger children and families to enjoy together and is packed with games, rides, and activities. Golden Putter Mini Golf at Cannon Hill Park offers 36 holes of enjoyable mini-golf. Visitors can enjoy a leisurely tour of the park’s natural beauty on the Land Train or can enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Cannon Hill Park by taking a relaxing trip on the Boating Lake in a Swan Pedal Boat.

MAC Birmingham is a cultural venue with galleries, exhibitions, cinema, theatre, dance, comedy, crafts, and workshops throughout the year.

Birmingham Wildlife Conservation Park is where families can meet a variety of animals, including reptiles, birds, monkeys, and red pandas. During feeding times, they can chat with the keepers to learn more about the animals and see them enjoying their meals. There are plenty of new friends to discover at the park!

Food & Drink

For families looking for refreshments at Cannon Hill Park, several options are available. The Garden Tea Room and the Bridges Cafe at the MAC are the main facilities for eating and drinking, while the bar at the MAC and the kiosk at the Fun Park offer additional choices.

The Garden Tea Room is located near the Russell Road entrance to the park and serves various traditional tea room-style drinks, snacks, and sandwiches.

The Bridges Cafe is inside the MAC and offers a wide range of food, drinks, snacks, and meals.

The Arena Bar, open from 5 pm on weekdays and noon on weekends, offers mainly drinks, although hot food and snacks are available until 8:15 pm.
