This farm is just the right size for kids to run wild and free while still being easily spotted by parents. You can meet many friendly farm animals, such as pigs, cows, lambs, chickens and ponies. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to bottle-feed the lambs and calves. There are outdoor play areas and a fantastic café to entertain the whole family. Additionally, well-behaved dogs on leads are allowed.
Children can have a fun-filled day at the farm with various activities. They can ride on the mini train or go for a pony ride. There is also crazy golf, pedal go-karts, pool and table tennis for the older kids. While they play, you can relax on the veranda, grab coffee and cake, and watch them have fun.
The farm is also home to many animals like alpacas, rabbits and goats, which children can meet, pet and even feed. Additionally, you can book an animal encounter for an extra memorable experience. You can choose from Lil Mac’s Animal Tour, Lil Mac’s Farmer Experience and Lil Mac’s Pony Experience.
Lil Mac’s Animal Tour is a 45-minute interactive tour where children can meet and feed the animals. The cost is £12 per child.
Lil Mac’s Farmer Experience is a 2-hour session where kids can become a farmhands for a day, helping the animal handler to feed and take care of the animals. The experience includes a high-visibility jacket and certificate, costing £35 per child.
Lil Mac’s Pony Experience is a 30-minute session that teaches children about farm ponies, including grooming and walking them around the farm garden. This experience is perfect for little pony lovers, costing £30 per child. The minimum age requirement is five years old.
For just £2, children can enjoy Lil Mac’s Animal Petting experience, where they can cuddle with the farm rabbits and guinea pigs.
Animal experiences run throughout the season, and booking is essential for some experiences. Furthermore, all children must be accompanied by an adult.
The Farm Cafe and Bar serve the best barista coffee in town and a side of croissants to start your day. You can also relish their sandwiches, salads, smoothies, and milkshakes throughout the day. Additionally, they have a great selection of local Cornish ice cream to satisfy your sweet tooth.
The bar stays open until late evening and hosts various events throughout the year. Keep an eye on their diary to know the timings during the season. You can enjoy a fantastic range of cold drinks, spirits, and local beers at the bar. If it’s raining outside, you can cosy up with a good book or game by the log burner. You can borrow them anytime.
