From the end of November, Chester Cathedral will be aglow with more than 80 majestic Christmas trees, decorated in the theme of Discover Christmas: What Christmas means to you. The festival will allow visitors to escape from the hustle and bustle of the festive period and lose themselves in astonishing tree-lined winter walkways, all decorated by local schools and businesses.

The festival will have an official Christmas Tree light switch on, taking place on Thursday 21 November, which will include the light switch on, short carol concert and a performance from a local group.
