Skate at Somerset House, one of the UK’s most beloved winter traditions, returns this November. As Somerset House’s iconic neoclassical courtyard is transformed into a glistening fairytale scene, Skate ushers in the festive season with unrivalled skating, contemporary music and tasty food and drink.
From skating lessons with Skate School and Chilled Out sessions, onwards to trailblazing DJs on the rink-side decks, there’s something for everyone.

Spectators are welcomed at the ice rink free of charge and can watch from the viewing platform or from the warmth of the Skate Lounge by Whispering Angel, which has a fantastic rink-side view.

A child must be 12 years or under to qualify for the child ticket price.
Children aged 12 years and under must be accompanied by an adult on the ice. There should be one adult for every five children skating.
A 10% family discount will be automatically applied to orders for groups of up to four or eight (where there is either one adult and up to 3 children aged 12 and under, or two adults and up to six children aged 12 and under). Any subsequent tickets will be charged at full price.
Concessions (20% off)
Concession tickets are available to recipients of Universal Credit, Pension Credit, NHS staff, full-time students and disabled visitors claiming Personal Independence Payment (PIP).
