At Africa Alive Zoological Reserve, there’s something for everyone to enjoy while supporting vital conservation efforts and reconnecting with beloved animals. Guests can witness the beauty of the African savannah as they watch over the ‘Plains of Africa,’ where species like the Southern White Rhinoceros, Reticulated Giraffe, and Chapman’s Zebra graze together.
Visitors can enjoy a bird’s eye view from the ‘Lookout Lodge’ and observe their daily habits and routines for a closer look at the majestic African Lions. Daily feeding talks offer the opportunity to learn more about the reserve’s incredible animals and support conservation work to protect them in their natural habitats.
The Conservation Education team invites guests to explore the Discovery Centre for Conservation Education, where they can meet some of the reserve’s most minor residents and learn more about our natural world.
In the ‘Farm Barn,’ visitors can interact with friendly domestic livestock and gain insights into the animals they encounter daily.
For those interested in exploring further, the reserve boasts 5 acres of wetland habitat, home to native waterfowl, rare dragonfly species, and migratory birds.
