Amerton Farm is a great day out for all the family, no matter what age. Their aim is to provide a relaxing, pleasant environment so that everyone can enjoy their visit. Children can enjoy a visit to the Farmyard, Play barn, Toy Shop and at weekends have a ride on the train. The Centre also includes a Craft Centre, Cook Shop, Tea Room, Bakery, Ice cream shop, Amerton Cakes, Retro Sweet Shop, Studio Pottery, Garden Centre, and Paint a Pot Studio.

Things to do

If your child loves climbing and exploring, then Billy’s Farm Barn is the perfect destination for them. The bespoke wooden play area is specially themed on the local village of Stowe by Chartley, making it great for any little adventurer.

The play area includes Granny Shaw’s black and white thatch cottage, the Church, Farmhouse, and Cock Inn, which has its own fireman’s pole. Additionally, there is a large Grain Store with a chute, the old Village School, the Village Farm Shop, and the Village Hall. The Village Hall doubles up as a cyber room for older children, and the Church forms part of a baby sensory area and toddler area.

On dry and sunny days, there are plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy such as tractor and trailer rides, sand pits, air bouncers, and outdoor play areas.

Visitors can also enjoy coin-operated electric quad and tractor rides, and they can visit the farm animals, including cows, pigs, horses and ponies, sheep, alpacas, chickens, ducks, donkeys, and reindeer. They are all housed in a purpose-built building and paddocks behind Billy’s Farm Barn. The farm has a range of activities depending on animals and seasons, such as lamb bottle feeding, chick hatching, calf bottle feeding, horse grooming, and meeting the rabbits.

Food & Drink

Billy’s menu offers a variety of hot and cold drinks, a great value kids menu, and light bites for adults. Within the Amerton Farm complex, you can also find Amerton ice Creams and Amerton Cakes.
