Baboon Adventures provides enjoyable electric scooter tours for families who wish to discover the stunning Charlton Park Estate in Malmesbury. These 1.5-hour tours are exciting and take you through forest tracks, farmland, ‘technical’ sections, and past the 300-year-old manor house, which holds historical significance, in the 4,500-acre estate.

Things to do

They provide three-wheeled electric scooters that are super easy to drive. If you’re 12 years or older, you can be the scooter driver; if you’re five years or older, you can enjoy the ride as a passenger with your family. Before the tour, they give you a quick 20-minute training session to ensure you’re comfortable driving the scooters. The knowledgeable guides will take you around the estate, sharing fascinating history andhelping you with gsome speed on the open sections. The electric scooters are quiet and don’t disturb nature with their fumes or noise. So, you might spot some wildlife too!

The adventure begins with a safety briefing, kit-up and test ride. The controls are designed to be simple and suitable for all experience levels. Older children will have an absolute blast driving alone, but little ones can ride with adults, too, making it the perfect family experience. Once everyone is confident about riding, you’ll all head out around the historic 4500-acre Charlton Park Estate, taking on muddy tracks, woodland trails, private roads and farm paths. There’ll be able to try some incredible speed and hit ‘the dip’ for a significant tummy flip! Midway, you will stop for a quick refreshment break, during which soft drinks are provided.

Baboon Adventures is about speed, but the company cares about family and safety. They go faster when they can but slow down when the road gets tricky. So that you know, this isn’t for the crazy daredevils or serious quad riders out there. Pictures and a video are also included. There are daily departures, and they operate in all weather conditions.
