Farmer Palmer’s provides a farm-tastic mixture of fresh air, play, adventure, and education, all designed specifically for children aged 0-8 years and their families.

Things to do

Join the daily animal activity timetable to keep the children busy all day long! Meet the animals, hand feed them, and learn about their life on the farm.

There are acres of fun for little adventurers, from whooshing down slides in straw mountain to sandcastle building in the splash zone! Take a lap of the go-kart track or a hop on the bouncy tractor ride. Feeling adventurous? Explore the World of Dinosaur Roar Discovery Trial.

Once you enter Farmer Palmer’s Farm Park, you’ll be greeted by Straw Mountain, which has slides and tunnels perfect for adventurous and climbing kids. Undercover facilities include a play barn packed with fun activities like pedal tractors, and the Grazing Barn is a great place to enjoy some delicious take-away food from the Hen House Restaurant.

Don’t miss out on the BIG animal barn, where you can hand-feed and meet the animals according to the timetable while knowledgeable staff will be on hand to oversee the events. The barn is set up to allow for social distancing as well.

Outdoor facilities include a large sand play area with running water, pedal go-karts, outdoor animal pens, a peaceful woodland walk along the river, and a maize maze (July to September). The tractor-trailer ride can be a bit bumpy, but it’s a fun experience, and you’ll also have the opportunity to feed the deer up close!

There is a fully stocked gift shop to buy little souvenirs and throughout the year there are various events such as Easter egg hunts, Halloween family fun and of course, ‘Farmer Christmas’ always pops by in December!

Food & Drink

The Hen House restaurant serves home cooked meals, sandwiches, snacks, and delicious coffee! Why not indulge in a slice of homemade cake too? Their team of happy, friendly staff are ready to deliver excellent customer service so busy parents and excitable children will be well looked after at this award winning farm park!
