Overview

The Farm is open all year round and boasts a massive indoor play barn with different areas tailored to other age groups. In addition, plenty of outdoor play areas are available, including the Little Farmers Driving School. Throughout the day, children can participate in animal handling and feeding activities. The establishment takes pride in welcoming thousands of families from all over the country seven days a week and has won numerous awards for their efforts.

Things to do

Finkley Down Farm is an award-winning farm and adventure park that offers a variety of indoor and outdoor activities for visitors of all ages, regardless of the weather. The farm boasts many farmyard animals in their happy homes, where visitors can interact with them. Additionally, visitors can have an exotic experience at the Reptile Encounters, where they can observe giant tortoises and meerkats. They can also get an up-close and personal experience with birds of prey, including hawks and owls. Visitors exploring Finkley can touch, feed, and learn about different animals, birds, and breeds.

The enormous purpose-built indoor Play Barn is light and airy and has various adventure areas suitable for children of all ages, including those under two, under five, and over five.

Finkley Down Farm offers acres of outdoor adventure for the entire family to enjoy throughout the year. It is packed with fun-filled practical play and games to explore, from climbing frames, sandpits, and trampolines to jumping pillows, go-karts, crazy golf, and water wars.

Food & Drink

Visitors to the Farm will find a great selection of homemade hot and cold food and a variety of drinks when it’s time to refuel. The Greedy Goat Tearoom, Hungry Hatch Kiosk, and Tractor Tommy Toy Shop all offer options for dining in or taking away.

The Farm takes pride in its home catering and uses fresh, seasonal, and local ingredients whenever possible. A variety of family-favourite foods and drinks are available, including options for vegetarian, gluten-free, and vegan diets. The staff are always happy to assist with any allergen information if needed.

Visitors are welcome to bring their own picnic, and there are plenty of outdoor and undercover picnic benches available for use.

In the Greedy Goat Tearoom, visitors can find a microwave to heat baby food, or the staff can provide hot water for bottles. There are also plenty of highchairs available to make feeding time easier.
