Overview

Surfers can ride an artificial standing wave at FlowRider at Retallack Resort. The wave is created by pumping a thin sheet of water up a steep and curved bank. It’s similar to surfing, snowboarding, wakeboarding, and skateboarding. Cornwall has no other artificial waves, so Flowrider is the only option for surfing enthusiasts!

Things to do

Cornwall’s only surf simulator is an excellent way to experience the thrill of surfing. With skilled instructors, riders of all levels can quickly learn how to stand up and surf. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a beginner, the friendly instructors will guide you through the process and have you surfing like a rockstar in no time.

To participate, riders must be at least 107cm tall, and the minimum age is 8. An adult must supervise children between the ages of 8 and 12.

Food & Drink

The Lookout Bar and Eatery provides two dining experiences to cater to different tastes. The restaurant has a fancy atmosphere, perfect for a delicious meal and bubbly drinks. The bar is laid-back, perfect for laughs and cheers while watching family and friends at the FlowRider.

There are food options for everyone, from easy-going lunches to romantic dinners and cocktails for parents. The Beach Café offers yummy pizzas and ice cream while enjoying the water sports lake.
