Dalby Forest, located in the North Yorkshire Moors, is famous for its challenging terrains and breathtaking views, attracting visitors from all over the world.

With more than 8000 acres of woodland to explore, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. There are 13 walking trails, four running trails and six cycling trails. Visitors can bring their own bikes or hire them, as there are 55 miles of cycling routes, ranging from family-friendly to highly technical and demanding.

With two play areas and the Enchanted Wood, there is plenty for families to discover. Keep an eye out for the living willow arches, owl carvings, a mystical fort, giant insects and even a spider in the trees. Put your map reading skills to the test while tackling the Gruffalo Orienteering route.

There is a cafe onsite serving a range of options. You can also bring your own food and drink and if you have a reusable bottle, you can fill this at the water stations around the activities.
