Overview

Hoo Zoo and Dinosaur World is an exciting destination with over 100 animal species, more than 30 animatronic dinosaurs, and activities held throughout the day. It is a fun-filled spot for people of all ages.

Things to do

Lemur Forest is a place where visitors can walk among a family of Ring-Tailed Lemurs in the woodland. The lemur walk is open on holidays and weekends from March to October, except during severe weather. The forest is also home to Shropshire’s Big Cats and other amazing creatures, which visitors can get up close and personal with by booking one of the experiences.

Visitors can travel back over 250 million years on a woodland walk where they will encounter over 30 moving Dinosaurs and other beasts while learning all about these amazing creatures. Visitors can walk down into Wolf Woods to see not only Wolves but also Deer, Cockatoos, and even a walkthrough Wallaby enclosure. In this area, there is also a wild Badger Sett whose inhabitants occasionally appear!

When children have seen enough animals, they can head to the play area, which has dozens of different play items, including climbing frames, swings, ziplines, a sensory forest, and Shropshire’s Biggest Jumping Pillow. Children (and adults) will be exhausted in no time!

Food & Drink

Burgers, Hot Dogs and Jacket Potatoes are served from the T-Rex Tea Room. There are also indoor and outdoor picnic area for your own food.
