Once you’ve explored, get ready to meet some furry and feathered friends, from sheep, goats, ponies, and chickens to rabbits and guinea pigs. Your children can learn how Kingston Maurward is helping to conserve their animal heritage and finish up by playing in the designated play areas.

There’s a fantastic indoor play area for children up to 8 years old and a great outdoor play area for kids up to 10 years old. And that’s not all! There are also regular trails and activities that will keep your little ones entertained for hours, and all for a small fee.

Visit The Barn Café, selling lovely fresh barista coffee, a wide range of teas, cold drinks, hot pastries, locally made sandwiches, and delicious handmade cakes. Gluten-free and vegan options are available, too. For a cooling stop, why not try the Purbeck Ice cream options? And don’t forget your four-legged friend – they can also have ice cream from Waggy Doggy. Planning on bringing a picnic? Choose from one of the park benches dotted about the grounds. The Estate shop also sells savoury nibbles and sweet treats to add that bit extra.
