Attention all cat lovers! You’ll be delighted to know that there’s a place where you can enjoy tea and spend time with adorable cats.
The Kitty Café in Leeds is a combination of a cat rescue centre and a café with cosy seating. You can treat yourself to a cream tea or a full afternoon tea whilst surrounded by furry friends.
If you or any of the family are a fan of felines, this unique experience is definitely worth a visit.
At the Kitty Café, you can relax and enjoy a variety of delicious food. They have comfy sofas at every table, where you can sit and savour the specialities, like jacket potatoes, pizza, paninis (vegan options available), chicken and veggie wraps, and much more.
You can also share some nachos or dough balls, or indulge in a scrumptious afternoon tea, which includes soft white sandwiches, Devonshire scones with clotted cream and strawberry jam, and a selection of baked goods.
If you’re in the mood for something sweet, you have got to try one of their home-baked cakes, which are all vegetarian-friendly (except for the Rocky Road cake), and there are also vegan cakes available.
The whole idea behind the Kitty Café is that you get to enjoy your food and drinks while playing with the adorable kitties. The cats are rescue cats and are looking for their forever homes, so you may come away with more than just memories!
They have a fantastic range of hot/cold refreshments including delicious milkshakes and mocktails and hot and cold food options, all of which are prepared onsite in a separate glass kitchen. You can watch your food being made without any risk of little furry paws getting involved!
