Oasis Camel Park offers a unique opportunity for families to interact with camels and other related animals up close. If you enjoy spending time with friendly animals treated like pets, visiting Camel Park in North Suffolk is the perfect activity for a family day out.
Located in the tranquil Suffolk countryside, the 11-acre Camel Park offers visitors a chance to experience the countryside’s natural beauty. Run by a family, the park is home not only to Bactrian and Dromedary camels but also to other animals such as llamas, alpacas, wallabies, and more.
The park features two outdoor play areas, a small indoor soft play area for children under 7, a family land train ride (weather permitting), pedal go-karts, a mini maze, and a jumping pillow suitable for children and adults.
The Land Train is a popular attraction at Camel Park, and visitors can enjoy an exciting ride around the park at 11:15 am and 2 pm. The museum is also worth a visit, where guests can explore numerous artefacts, learn interesting facts, and view the camel seats and memorabilia collection.
The Camel Café offers various takeaway options, including jacket potatoes, sandwiches, breakfasts, burgers, hotdogs, chips, and delicious slices of cake. They also have children’s portions available. The café has indoor and undercover outdoor seating available for the guests.
In addition to that, guests can also enjoy snacks, lighter bites, ice creams, and smoothies. If you prefer bringing your food, you can use the picnic areas available, while the covered marquee is reserved for café customers.
