Overview

Get ready for a fully immersive, fairytale adventure with everyone’s favourite ogre – Shrek! This walkthrough experience takes you on a journey through the land of Far Far Away, where all the senses will be treated to an adventure in the ten fairytale-themed live shows. You’ll meet all your favourite characters along the way and even help them find all the ingredients they need to help get Shrek home.

Things to do

Get ready to party with all your DreamWorks pals, including the central ogre duo, Shrek and Donkey! This fantastical journey at Shrek’s Adventure London, brought to you by DreamWorks Animation and Merlin Entertainments, will have you living the dream in Far Far Away and Shrek’s Swamp. Dive into an interactive fairytale where you’re not just a spectator – you become part of Shrek’s World!

Strap in for ten live-action shows, turning your quest into a full-blown story with audience interaction galore. It’s a wild ride from the Magic Bus Ride that almost got you to Far Far Away (with a hint of “I’m a Believer” magic) to the antics of Rumplestiltskin and his witchy cohorts. But hold on tight – this 4D Bus Ride has surprise moves!

Join forces with Cinderella, dodge Rumplestiltskin’s mischief, and tackle the 4D Cinema with water sprays and air blasts. Beware of the Dungeon, where the not-so-bright Thelonious tries to stump you with Pinocchio’s fate. In the Mirror Maze, discover if it’s your reflection or the right path. Doris at the Poison Apple needs your help, and Princess Fiona, the real hero, breaks you free. Finally, meet Shrek for a happily ever after and grab that coveted photo!

And yes, you might encounter a specific ginger character in the elevator. Watch for perfectly placed toilet humour – it will have the whole family laughing.

Food & Drink

Visitors should note that no food or drink outlets are available during their visit. However, there are several options for cafes and restaurants in the South Bank area. The South Bank Centre, located towards Embankment Bridge, is an excellent spot for visitors to grab a bite or enjoy a hot coffee. The Centre also has an enormous indoor space for visitors to relax and unwind.

For those who may need a quick snack or drink, a small selection of options is available at the gift shop.

Visitors can also head to Jubilee Gardens on a sunny day for a picturesque outdoor picnic. The garden provides an excellent spot for visitors to relax and enjoy a nice meal. So, visitors should pack their favourite snacks and drinks and make the most of their time in the beautiful outdoors.
