Tapnell Farm Park is a popular family attraction on the Isle of Wight that offers a wide range of activities for families to enjoy. Children can enjoy various activities, including riding pedal go-karts, playing on giant jumping pillows, sliding down sledge slides, and shooting some goals in the footy shoot-outs. They can also interact with the animals in the Animal Barn & Paddocks.

There is the straw bale barn for those with high energy, where children can engage in many fun activities. Animal lovers will be delighted to know that there are daily animal activities where they can feed the wallabies. The keepers are always available to give tips and knowledge about each fascinating animal.

In addition to the standard attractions, Tapnell Farm hosts seasonal events throughout the year. For instance, there are Paddock Tours and animal shows. During the summer, visitors can watch Disney Encanto every Tuesday in the barn, and on Thursdays, there is the Island’s Biggest Kids Party. The Pumpkin Festival occurs during the October half-term, while Tapnell’s award-winning Christmas event is held in December.

Visitors can also enjoy other fun activities at Tapnell Farm, such as the Island’s only Aqua Park, which features over 20 obstacles, including free-fall slides, and is suitable for kids aged 7+. The Island’s only Football Golf course offers nine and 18-hole options and is fun for everyone. Kids aged 11+ can participate in Archery & Axe Throwing sessions managed by experienced staff in purpose-built ranges. Sharpen your vision and aim at the Clay Pigeon Shooting activity – the perfect ‘have a go’ experience where kids can learn new skills. This activity is suitable for ages 10+.

Food & Drink

The Cow Restaurant & Bar is a welcoming, family-friendly eatery serving delicious homemade food. They offer various options, including award-winning burgers and steaks and vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free dishes to cater to multiple dietary needs.

The Coffee House is located at the heart of the Farm Park, next to the Play Barn, Animal Barn, and Paddocks. It provides a diverse range of barista coffees, hot and cold beverages, and an extensive selection of snacks, hot pastries, cakes, and traybakes.

Inside the Coffee House, there’s ample seating for visitors, and the nearby Play Barn also offers additional seating. There are picnic tables outside that provide stunning views of The Paddocks, the Solent, and beyond! Visitors can enjoy the picturesque surroundings on sunny days while soaking up the sun.
