The Parrot Path offers visitors a chance to immerse themselves in a tropical rainforest experience, complete with exotic and beautiful parrots such as macaws, cockatoos, and Amazons. Rare species such as Hyacinth macaws and Red-tailed black cockatoos can also be found here. The friendly and attention-seeking birds often enjoy interacting with visitors who have their favorite treats.

Another exciting feature of the Parrot Path is the Walk-Through Aviary, which houses birds from all over the world. Visitors can take a peaceful stroll through the aviary and observe a variety of birds. Meal worms can be used to attract the birds’ attention.

The Chick Room is another fascinating attraction at the Parrot Path. Although not accessible to the public for safety reasons, visitors can still get a close-up view of newly hatched chicks through the large windows.

For families with children, the Parrot Path offers a brand new, larger play area with swings, slides, and plenty of opportunities for exploration. Younger children can also enjoy a smaller play area designed just for them.

Finally, visitors can explore the natural beauty of the Parrot Path’s woodland walk. This area is home to a variety of native wildlife, trees, and shrubs, including woodpeckers, kingfishers, jays, and squirrels.

Food & Drink

Tropical Birdland’s cafe is the perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee and a slice of cake, a fry-up, or a hearty lunch. Visitors don’t need to be paying customers to indulge in the cafe’s delicious products. The cafe is an ideal spot to catch up with friends over lunch or add some excitement to a weekday routine.

Tropical Birdland offers a Breakfast Menu that serves a variety of hot and cold dishes available until 11am. From 11am, the cafe’s main menu includes burgers, toasted ciabattas, kids meals, sandwich meal deals, and jacket potatoes, including gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian options. The cafe also serves barista-style coffee, luxury flavored teas, and chilled drinks that are perfect for a hot summer day.

The cafe’s cakes are freshly baked and decorated with care, offering a range of options such as the classic Victoria Sponge to the more indulgent Coffee and Biscoff sponge.
