Overview

West Lodge Farm is an award-winning farm park that offers hands-on experiences of farm and country life for people of all ages.

Things to do

At West Lodge Farm, there are a lot of exciting activities to explore. You can enjoy watching livestock, walking on nature trails, exploring fields and streams, and even seeing farm machinery in action.

Visitors can also visit the cuddle corner, where they can hold rabbits and guinea pigs, take pony rides, watch the exciting sheep races, or play in the adventure playground. The farm is open every day except for the period between Christmas and New Year, which allows visitors to experience different farm events such as lambing, sheep shearing, and harvest time.

Moreover, there is also a 9-hole adventure golf course to enjoy!

Even if it’s raining, you can still have fun at West Lodge. There is a vast timber play adventure barn, and all animal activities are held indoors so that you can enjoy everything regardless of the weather.

The nature trails will take you on various adventures, such as visiting The Witch’s House or the Troll Bridge. For more active people, you can venture down to the Monks Dam and enjoy a picnic by the stream.

Food & Drink

The Rickyard Restaurant provides table service and free activity sheets to ensure the entire family can enjoy their time with us in a relaxed atmosphere. Food is prepared fresh to order, with most meat sourced from the farm and the remaining ingredients sourced locally wherever possible.

The Udder Place offers a takeaway service on weekends and during school holidays. Various hot and cold snacks, from breakfast rolls to lunchtime treats, are served throughout the day. The menu also includes a fantastic selection of guest ice creams that
you wouldn’t want to miss it!

Take a break and enjoy a Jute coffee and a slice of cake while the children play in the Old Grain Adventure Barn. The Barn serves an extensive menu for everyone during off-peak periods.

There are many picnic benches around the farm, including a covered picnic barn opposite the outdoor play area.
