Activities

Camp Lion is situated within the Yorkshire Wildlife Park, the perfect location for visitors to enjoy the park. You can purchase discounted multi-day park tickets when booking your pitch online. The wildlife park offers a variety of activities, including an abundance of animals, animal experiences, play areas, shows, ranger talks, and special events.

There are many fun play areas around the park where children of all ages can have a great time, including treehouse adventures and zip-line fun. With both indoor and outdoor play areas, this place provides the perfect setting for kids to burn off their energy, regardless of what the weather in Yorkshire may bring.

If you visit the park, you can also check out the Yorkshire Hive, located next to the park entrance. It’s a new shopping, dining, and entertainment destination that offers free admission. Children can also have fun in ‘Uproar!’, a huge indoor play barn.

Food

Masai Café is open every evening from 6.00 pm to all camping guests. They serve a variety of take-away pizzas, beers, wines, and treats. Enjoy an evening walk to the Yorkshire Hive and indulge in delicious dining at Wilds Cafe Bistro or the unique Evolution Experience Restaurant! All restaurants will open during regular park hours and require valid park entry tickets. The Breakfast Den, located within the campsite, offers a variety of hot food and drink options.
