If you’re bringing a large group, why not book Gully’s indoor camping? They offer three pre-erected tents that can sleep up to 10 people, all with comfortable beds. The camping area has shower and toilet facilities, kitchen facilities, tables, and chairs, all under the same roof.
For a themed sleepover experience, Explorers Retreat offers princess suites, pirate suites, wizard suites, and promenade rooms. Each suite is decorated according to the theme and can accommodate up to 5 people in a double bed or triple bunk bed. Each suite has a bathroom with a shower, T.V., tea/coffee-making facilities, a mini fridge, and a microwave. There is also space for a cot.
The theme park is on your doorstep, so you might not have much time to explore. However, if you do, you are in the Derwent Valley, which offers stunning views.
The location provides excellent access to the Peak District, perfect for family exploration on foot. The Heights of Abraham is a 4-minute drive away and offers a fantastic cable car ride with breathtaking views of the Derwent Valley and Matlock Bath.
