Activities

Home Farm Holiday Cottages are on stunning grounds that offer plenty of space for children to play. The children’s play area is well-equipped and caters to kids of all ages. It features two climbing frames, one for older children and another for younger ones. Additionally, there are two sets of swings, picnic tables, and a delightful wooden playhouse.

For rainy days or family fun, the indoor heated pool is perfect! It is large enough to accommodate everyone and stays at a comfortable temperature of 29 degrees. Near the pool is an on-site games room with two tennis tables and a pool table.

The complex is only a 10-minute walk from the coast. Although the sea is quite deep, the beach is ideal for young children who love to throw stones. There are ample opportunities for family walking from Weybourne, eliminating the hassle of loading the car. Take the 3-mile cliff-top walk to Sheringham or head in the opposite direction to the Salthouse Marshes to show the children the birdlife during migration.

Food

The village store offers daily essentials such as food supplies, toiletries, magazines, and newspapers. Additionally, they have a coffee bar where you can enjoy hot drinks, cakes, and picnic items.

Another tearoom is also available within the village. A fantastic family-friendly pub, the Ship Inn, is within walking distance from the cottages and serves hot meals for lunch and dinner.

Finally, the Maltings Hotel is an excellent option for bar meals and dining. The abundance of nearby options makes life easier, especially for families with young children.

Accommodation

Home Farm has 20 cottages that can accommodate between 3 and 7 people. If needed, each cottage has a cot and is beautifully decorated in the traditional Norfolk brick and flint style. Most of the cottages are within the main complex, where you can find a swimming pool, park, and games room.

However, some of the cottages, including the dog-friendly ones, are located across the main road opposite the leading site, while three are a five-minute walk away. All the cottages are fully equipped for a self-catering stay and have either a private patio or garden and parking space. If you’re part of a larger group with several families, many of the cottages are situated close to each other.

Home Farm offers a range of amenities to its guests, including an on-site beauty room where you can indulge in luxury spa treatments. A wide range of treatments and special pampering packages are available. The owners recommend booking these treatments to ensure a relaxing holiday experience. A mini gym is also attached to the swimming pool for guests over 18 years old, which is perfect for the more active parents.

The beach is within walking distance, where visitors can enjoy watching the fishing boats returning. The North Norfolk Steam Railway and Muckleburgh Military Museum are also located nearby and are worth a visit, especially for families.
