Food

The Park dining experience offers a variety of options, from enjoying a coffee or lunch in the bright and welcoming Brackens Café to sampling the delights cooked by the chefs in the restaurant or simply purchasing lunches to go from the Village Store. During selected weeks, visitors can also look for different pop-up food vendors.

The Village Store, located at the heart of Kelling Heath, is open seven days a week and sells daily essentials, quality local produce, Gourmade ready meals, snacks, sandwiches, newspapers, and hot and cold drinks. Overview

Choose from two styles of holiday accommodation, Woodland Lodges or Luxury Holiday Homes, available for short breaks and weekly stays.

The Woodland lodges offer a unique and relaxing experience. Designed to blend in with the natural surroundings, these lodges come in 2 or 3 bedrooms and are equipped with modern amenities to ensure that guests have a comfortable stay. The luxury holiday homes are perfect for a break away from the city, regardless of the season. These homes can accommodate up to six people and offer excellent facilities for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

If you prefer to stay in your own caravan or tent, the site also offers pitches for touring caravans and camping. The pitches are situated amidst rare open heathland and provide a perfect spot for enjoying the stunning countryside. No minimum stay is required, so guests can choose to stay for as long or as little as they like.

Nearby

Norfolk is home to some stunning beaches often undiscovered by visitors and even locals. However, the area is full of hidden gems just waiting to be explored. Among these, Titchwell is known for being a nature reserve with a diverse range of freshwater and saltwater habitats that support a variety of birds. The beach is about 1km beyond the reserve, and visitors must cross reedbeds and marshes to get there. However, once they arrive, they can enjoy a vast expanse of sand and dunes, making it a perfect place for a relaxing walk or picnic.

Another hidden gem is Scolt Head Island, located in Burnham Overy Staithe. Visitors can wade across the island in low tide, but they should be aware of the fast-running tides to avoid getting stranded. In the summer, there is a ferry that runs at high tide. The island is a National Nature Reserve managed by Natural England and is 4 miles long, mainly comprising mud flats, wide sandy beaches, salt marshes, and sea grass. It is a perfect place for birdwatching and a peaceful getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Snettisham is another stunning beach located between the royal estate of Sandringham and the popular seaside resort of Hunstanton. It is a great spot to watch the sunset in Norfolk, and visitors can indulge in beach games or visit the beach sailing club. On the other hand, Cart Gap is perfect for those who prefer Sea Palling without the crowds. It has plenty of space for beach games and sunbathing, a large car park, toilet facilities, and a small café nearby.

Lastly, Weybourne Hope is a pebble beach perfect for a walk along the clifftops and a peaceful beach day. Fishing is also popular here when the tide is up, and visitors can watch the fishermen bringing in a rod full of Mackerel. If visitors fancy exploring the area, they can hop on the poppy line and take a trip to Sheringham, an excellent place for all the family to experience other beautiful seaside locations in Norfolk.
