Activities

At Mena Farm, you can enjoy a variety of activities. For older children, the games barn offers plenty of entertainment options. You can challenge each other to a pool, ping-pong, or air hockey game, or simply relax in the TV lounge. With a vast collection of books and games, you can keep yourselves occupied for hours.

If you’re looking for outdoor fun, there’s a play area where you can unleash your inner child. Shoot some hoops, swing on the swings, slide down the slide, and climb up the fort. And while you’re at it, don’t forget to visit the chickens and pet the on-site pigs.

The farm boasts 15 acres of meadows, ponds, and woodlands for you and your family to explore. Get ready to embark on an unforgettable adventure and create memories that will last a lifetime.

For those who love fishing, the well-stocked fish pond is the perfect spot to catch tiddlers.

Food

Mena Farm boasts a well-stocked shop that offers a wide range of food essentials, wine, and local beers. Fresh produce is also available during the summer months. In addition, various local pop-up food and drink stalls offer even more delicious treats.

Every Tuesday throughout the summer holidays, there is a weekly pizza night. Moreover, Dotty the Caravan Bar serves freshly made cocktails, chili, or curry bowls, followed by waffles. You can find Dotty at Mena every Saturday throughout the summer and on Thursdays during school summer holidays.

Dub Cafe is available from Friday to Monday mornings during the summer. They serve lovely hot drinks and fresh pastries from the barista van.

Mena Farm has partnered with the award-winning Welcome Stranger Fish and Chip Restaurant in Lanivet to offer year-round fish and chips delivery on Mondays and Fridays.

If that’s not enough, there’s also an award-winning pub on the doorstep. Lanivet Inn offers great food and surroundings. They’re very busy all year round, so booking ahead is always essential. The Lanivet Inn also offers a takeaway service. Just ask at reception for their menu and give them a call! They’ve also added a huge outdoor stretch tent with plenty of seating and gas heaters for when it’s chilly.

It’s also an easy drive to the 12th-century Crown Inn in Lanlivery for a traditional country pub and large beer garden. Doggies are welcome in all these pubs but may not be allowed in the dining areas.

Accommodation

This site has been rated AA 4 stars and offers a variety of camping and touring experiences that cater to different visitors’ needs and preferences. The main field has 45 pitches, with options for hard-standing or grassy pitches, with or without electric hook-ups. The touring field is designed to provide maximum space and privacy, making it ideal for families. It can easily accommodate large tents and motorhomes.

The site features modern and bright unisex facilities with self-contained toilets and shower cubicles for complete privacy. Two family-sized shower rooms with baby baths are also available for visitors traveling with little ones. Additionally, a dedicated utility block with four washing-up sinks, a laundry sink, a washing machine, and a tumble dryer is available to ensure visitors’ clothes and dishes stay clean without any hassle.
