With so much on site at the Alton Towers resort it is very unlikely that you will find the time to leave! But if you do and fancy a walk in nature, you can head to Cotton Dell, where you can stroll along a stream and spot birds and wildflowers in this peaceful haven. Or head to Peak Wildlife Park, 5 miles away in Leek and marvel at the polar bears.
