The Old Chapel is a stunning two-storey self-catering holiday cottage in East Witton, at the heart of the Yorkshire Dales. The former chapel has been successfully converted into a unique and elegant space, marrying contemporary high-end amenities and furniture with the grandeur and elegance of the original church building.

The chapel comprises Chapel bedrooms on the ground floor, with ensuite bathrooms featuring walk-in showers and luxurious baths. The wooden and glass staircase leads you upstairs to the large open-plan living area, which is filled with natural light and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. The space features a wood-burning stove, a flat-screen T.V., and a large kitchen with a dining area accommodating up to six people.

The upstairs space benefits from the chapel’s high ceiling and the building’s original fixtures imbue it with a restrained authenticity. Light pours through stained glass windows, and the dark stained beams contrast with the whitewashed finishes. The aesthetic emphasises minimalism, with uncluttered, light-filled space, clean, confident architectural lines, and classic, pleasing furniture.

The Old Chapel also has a spacious, well-maintained garden and private parking. If a third bedroom is required, a bed and breakfast room is available next door.
