Accommodation

The Salty Dog cottage boasts three bedrooms equipped with zip-link beds that can sleep up to six adults. The two more oversized bedrooms also have en-suite shower rooms, while the third has a family bathroom. The main bedroom has plenty of space for a cot. Spread over three floors, the accommodation has a playroom on the ground floor, a modern and well-equipped open-plan kitchen with ample dining space, and a family lounge area. The cottage also comes with a private enclosed garden with a gas BBQ and a garage where you can store all your sports equipment, bikes and buggies.

On the other hand, the Rock Lobster cottage has two bedrooms that can sleep up to four adults. The bedrooms also come with zip-link beds, and there is ample space for a cot in each bedroom. This cottage has a modern, well-equipped kitchen and a lounge that opens onto a fully enclosed private garden. The cottage also has a large, secure shed to store all your sports equipment and other belongings. There is also off-road parking available for up to two cars.

The owners of both cottages are dedicated to providing a safe and secure environment for your little ones. To that end, fixed stair gates, child drawer and cupboard locks, socket covers, and secure blind cords have all been installed to help protect them from hazards. Both cottages also welcome furry canine friends with their own snacks included! Dogs are allowed on the beach all year round, and there is plenty of space for them to run and dig. Additionally, both cottages provide a welcome tray with homemade marmalade, a loaf of bread, fresh milk, tea, and coffee.

When it comes to family-friendly destinations in the south of England, Camber Sands is undoubtedly at the top of the list. Its miles of sandy beach make it the perfect spot for a fun-filled day of sandcastle building and bucket-and-spade play. And for those who love water sports, Camber Sands is renowned for its kite surfing and other aquatic activities.

But that’s not all there is to see and do in the area. Guests are encouraged to take a half-day trip to the nearby town of Rye, where they can wander through the quaint cobbled streets and narrow alleyways and take in the breathtaking views of the marshland and sea from the Gun Gardens or the top of the church tower.

Bodiam Castle is another must-see attraction in the area, an impressive 14th-century moated castle that offers visitors a glimpse into medieval castle life.
