Trevaylor Campsite is the ultimate holiday park for adventure seekers and relaxation enthusiasts. It has 60 spots for touring caravans, motorhomes, and tents, two bell tents for hire and six self-catering holiday caravans. The park is located in the heart of Cornwall, close to St Just, Penzance, Land’s End, and St Ives.

Activities

Trevaylor campsite is located only 500 metres away from the coastal path, providing access to some of the most stunning coastlines in Cornwall. While there are many campsites in the area, Trevaylor stands out as the only one that allows you to immerse yourself in Cornwall’s rich mining and cultural heritage. The iconic Crowns Engine houses are situated on the edge of the cliffs nearby, and there are also walking trails to Cape Cornwall, Cot Valley, and other stunning locations.

Rather leave your car back at the campsite? You’ll find a bus stop just outside the campsite’s entrance.

Food

Each caravan is equipped with a gas cooker, refrigerator, and microwave. You can whip up your favourite meals without any hassle here. But if you’re in the mood for a change, plenty of amazing dining options are nearby. In the charming village of St Just, less than a mile away, you’ll find many cosy restaurants, friendly pubs, and cute cafes to explore. And if you’re looking for more options, you’ll be happy to know that there are several fantastic villages and towns to visit, from Lands End, Penzance, and St Ives, where you can take your pick of child-friendly places to eat.

Accommodation

The dog-friendly campsite is sheltered by traditional Cornish hedges and trees. It comprises of five separate enclosures, most with electric hook-ups and conveniently placed water standpipes around the campsite. This gives plenty of space and facilities for families or groups to be together. There are pitches for touring caravans, tents, and motorhomes.

There are six luxury, two and three-bedroom self-catering caravans available. When the weather gets chilly, the caravans will keep you warm and cosy with double glazing and central heating. You will find everything you need in the kitchen, including a gas cooker, fridge, microwave, and all the utensils to prepare a delicious meal. Plus, for entertainment purposes, there is a TV and DVD player available. The caravans are situated in a separate enclosure, away from the touring paddocks, surrounded by greenery for your privacy. Each caravan has a picnic table and washing line for your convenience.

If you’re planning a camping trip and looking for a comfortable stay, you could consider hiring a fabulous bell tent at Trevaylor. The canvas bell tents are five meters long and can sleep two adults and two children. They come equipped with electric hook-ups, matting, a storage trunk, bedside tables, fairy lights, bunting, and a picnic table. A double camp bed and self-inflating camping mat topper are included. You can add up to two additional single camping beds at £10 per child. The tent will be pitched for you, so you can relax right away. But remember, you’ll need to bring your own bedding and camping equipment.

Plus, there’s a shower and toilet block for campers, a convenient laundrette to tackle any dirty laundry, an undercover washing-up area so you can clean up after your meals, and even a small play area for the children to burn off some energy.

Trevaylor Campsite in the far west of Cornwall offers breathtaking scenery with peace and tranquility. Nearby, you can find plenty of entertainment and places of interest, such as Mousehole, Newlyn, Land’s End, St Ives, Lamorna Cove, Cape Cornwall, Porthcurno Beach and the Minack Theatre.

The golden sandy beach of Sennen Cove is perfect for surfing, while the coastal and inland paths around the campsite are ideal for walkers, cyclists, and birdwatchers. The local cliffs offer great climbing opportunities, including the popular Bosigran and Chair Ladder, just three miles away.

The ancient village of St. Just is less than a mile away and features a thriving arts scene, including the annual Lafrowda Festival. The campsite is located in the heart of the famous tin mining country, and many Poldark scenes were filmed in this area.

A fantastic bus service runs right outside the campsite, including the open-topped Land’s End Coaster. This bus runs from Lands End to St. Ives, with many breathtaking sites and views along the way. Trevaylor is located just 500m from the 17-mile stretch of coastal path between St. Just and St. Ives – one of the most beautiful and remote sections of the entire coast path.
